The Caribbean Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) 2010 Fire-Rescue-EMS Conference will be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica from November 28 - December 3, 2010 at the Rosehall Resort and Spa. The CAFC conference is the largest annual gathering of fire-rescue professionals in the Caribbean. The host department this year will be the Jamaica Fire Brigade lead by Commissioner Laurie Williams. The Caribbean Association of Fire Fighters (CAFF) will convene its 5th Biennial Conference from October 12 - 16, 2009 in Dominica. This year's conference theme is “Redefining the Caribbean Fire Service – A New Perspective.” The host organisation will be the Dominica Fire Fighters Association. Organised by firefighters for firefighters the biennial conference has become the focal point for the Caribbean firefighter. CAFF 2009 will bring together regional fire service personnel and other industry professionals over a five day period. Apart from the business meetings and workshop sessions, conference delegates can also look forward to several social and recreational activities during the conference including a scenic island tour, football match and a cultural evening.

The Caribbean Association of Chief, Deputy and Assistant Chief Fire Officers (CACDACFO) will host its 2008 Conference from December 2 - 7 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. CACDACFO provides Caribbean Fire Service Administrators with the tools necessary to enhance knowledge, sharpen leadership skills and further professional careers. The organisation provides information and practical ideas to better serve regional departments. The Association held its inauguration ceremony on September 17, 2001 in Trinidad and Tobago under the auspices of former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday. The body provides professional advice, leadership research and other services to CACDACFO member organisations and other entities upon request.
