CAFF 2014 Goodwill Games In Guyana


Regional firefighters are today gathering for the Caribbean Association of Fire Fighters (CAFF) 2014 Goodwill Games in Guyana. The Games are scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary, Georgetown according to a press release from the local organizers.

Nine countries have confirmed their participation in the Games, including Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, British Virgin Island, French Guyana, Guyana, Martinique, Trinidad and Tobago and St. Lucia.

The Guyanese public and athletics fans are invited to come out and support the various countries which will be participating in the games, since it will showcase the different side of firefighters.

The event will be exciting and will be an opportunity for regional firefighters to showcase the lighter side of the fire service. It will also be an opportunity to build stronger relations among firefighters across the region.

The Goodwill Games were last held in Barbados in 2012.
